Indian 2 cinematographer Rathnavelu meets Robert Richardson on the sets of Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru

Rathnavelu is currently working on the forthcoming Mahesh Babu starrer Sarileru Neekevvaru in Hyderabad. On the sets of the film, Rathnavelu met with legendary cinematographer and three-time Oscar winner Robert Richardson.

For Sarileru Neekevvaru, the team has adopted a new technique of using CGI plates, which helps the crew visualize the final output on-screen in an effective manner. Rathnavelu shared the picture in his official Twitter account regarding this enriching interaction with Robert Richardson for the film. He had also mentioned that it was a fanboy moment.

Robert Richardson is the lensman behind the visuals of many spectacles such as Martin Scorsese's The Aviator, Shutter Island, Hugo and Quentin Tarantino directorials Inglorious Basterds, Django Unchained, Hateful Eight and the upcoming film Once Upon A Time in Hollywood.

Apart from Sarileru Neekevvaru, Rathnavelu will be working in director Shankar's Indian 2, which stars Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Aishwarya Rajesh, Siddharth and others. The film is produced by Subaskaran under the banner Lyca Productions.
