“KUMUDHA HAPPY” ONCE AGAIN WITH VIJAY SETHUPATHI’S HIT FILM SPIN-OFF! LAUGHTER RIOT WITH A CORONA TWIST

The mega comedy blockbuster ‘Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara’ became a hit and remains an audience favorite for the humor and iconic dialogues in the film.

Director Gokul, who also helmed films such as ‘Kashmora’ and ‘Junga’, revealed the title of his next film ‘Corona Kumar’, a spin-off of the 2013 Vijay Sethupathi starrer. The film will be the first attempt at a Tamil language spin-off, a genre usually implemented in Hollywood films.

The ‘Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara’ team comes together for ‘Corona Kumar’ produced by K Sathish of CinemaWala Pictures. The family entertainer is set in the Covid-19 lockdown and will highlight the significant changes in the lives of people in a hilarious and sensible manner.

Sources also revealed that the team will commence shooting once the lockdown is released and permission is granted for filming. The cast and crew of ‘Corona Kumar’ will be revealed soon.
