Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsActor Ajith Kumar will be next seen in the grand and biggest release of his upcoming film, Valimai, which is one the most-awaited and anticipated movies. The film was supposed to hit the big screens this Pongal but it got postponed due to the COVID-19 Omicron variant.
Finally, the biggie is all set to hit the theatres on February 24, 2022. Directed by H. Vinoth and bankrolled by Boney Kapoor, Valimai also features Huma Qureshi as the leading lady and Kartikeya Gummakonda will be seen as the antagonist.
Ajith can be seen playing an upright cop. Valimai also marks the actor-director duo's second project under Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP banner post the 2019 courtroom drama 'Nerkonda Paarvai'. The music is scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja while the camera is cranked by DOP Nirav Shah.
It is learnt that from today (February 16), the theatres will run with 100% occupancy and saying this, the FDFS timings of Valimai have been revealed for the fans. Yes, the film’s first show starts by 4am worldwide. So, what are you waiting for, grab your tickets and wait for the big day!
