The Kannada film 'KGF' was released in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Telugu in 2018. Following the success of the film in all languages, the second part is now in development.

Prashant Neel, who directed the first part, is also directing the second part - 'KGF: Chapter 2'. The first part starred Yash, Sreenidhi Shetty, Anand Nag, Malavika Avinash and others. Hindi actor Sanjay Dutt plays the villain in the character of Adeera in the second part while Raveena Tandon also plays a pivotal role.

Following this highly anticipated film this year, Prashant Neel is directing Salaar in which Prabhas is the hero. The film is also produced by Homebale Films, which produced the KGF films.

Shruti Haasan plays a vital role. Now, it has been announced that the film will release on April 14, 2022.
