THIS KAATRU VELIYIDAI DUO HAS 2 RELEASES IN 2 MONTHS!

RJ Balaji and Shraddha Srinath have both been a part of Mani Ratnam’s Kaatru Veliyidai which is supposed to release in the first week of April. But even before Kaatru Veliyidai, looks like they will be having a release in the first week of March.

Ivan Thanthiran is the film that stars Gautham Karthik, RJ Balaji and Shraddha Srinath in important roles. It is directed by R.Kannan, produced under the banner Masala Pix and co-produced by Ramprasad, MKRP Pictures.

Director Kannan confirmed to us that the movie’s shoot has been wrapped up successfully and they have planned to release the audio and trailer in the second week of February. Post production is underway and they are looking at a March first week release.

Another interesting connection between these two films is that director R.Kannan is a former assistant of Mani Ratnam and he will be having a release prior to his own Guru’s Kaatru Veliyidai. Ivan Thanthiran has a good technical team that consists of music by Thaman, cinematography by Prasanna Kumar and stunts by Silva. Lyrics for the songs have been penned by Arunraja Kamaraj and Vivek.
