FIR FILED AGAINST ACTOR/POLITICIAN

The Central Crime Branch had filed an FIR against actor/politician J K Rithesh, yesterday, the 4th April on charges of cheating.

Ritesh was booked along with six others including his wife after one Mr. Athinarayanan moved the Madras High court that despite their earlier order to police to file an FIR against Ritesh and team, it was not done. Finally, the Central Crime Branch of city police filed the FIR.

Athinarayanan had complained that Ritesh had cheated him of Rs 3 crores when the latter took the money, promising him of a land near Sriperambudur in 2014. He also claimed that Ritesh promised to return the money within three years, but he only received cheques that bounced.
