Unveiling a poster of the actor holding a magnifying camera, the popular OTT platform said the trailer will be out on August 31. Now, it looks like the movie will premiere directly on TV before the OTT release on Netflix, confirming the earlier speculations about the same.
'Tughlaq Durbar', directed by Delhi Prasad Deenadalayan and stars Vijay Sethupathi and Raashi Khanna in lead roles will premiere on Sun TV on September 10 at 6.30 pm, coinciding with the festival of Vinayagar Chathurthi. The channel also released a promo that showed Vijay Sethupathi playing the role of a politician. The cast also includes Parthiepan, Sathyaraj and Manjima Mohan playing pivotal roles.
Incidentally, Vijay Sethupathi's another film 'Laabam', directed by late Filmmaker SP Jananathan is up for a theatrical release on September 9. The movie, which is being produced by Vijay Sethupathi will see Shruti Haasan playing the female lead.
Vijay Sethupathi has a long list of films in his kitty including 'Vikram', starring Kamal Haasan and Fahadh Faasil, 'Annabelle Sethupathi' with Taapsee Pannu and 'Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal' with Nayanthara and Samantha.
