Thiru is known for his films such as Theeradha Vilayatu Pillai, Samar, Naan Sigappu Manithan and Chandramouli. He is also the husband of Cook with Comali season 2 winner Kani. Recently, Thiru happened to have lost his purse, however, a stranger who chanced upon the purse seems to have returned to him the same. Thiru put up a heartwarming post on Twitter about the same.
He took to Twitter and wrote - தேடி அலஞ்சு இனிமே கிடைக்க வாய்ப்பே இல்லனு சோர்ந்து உக்காரும் போது உங்களுக்கு எதாவது கிடைச்சிருக்கா..? எனக்கு கெடச்சுது.. yes என்னோட wallet, After 2 weeks.. காதல்கோட்டை சூர்யாக்கள் நிஜத்திலும் இருக்கத்தான் செய்கிறார்கள்😍

Fans couldn't help but point out that this incident draws parallel to the Ajith - Devayani movie Kadhal Kottai, which was directed by Thiru's father-in-law Agathiyan and was a super smash hit.
