Thithi is a Kannada film directed by Ram Reddy which was released in 2016. It is about three generations of men’s outlook towards the death of an old patriarch in their village. The film had won many international awards and had also won the National Award for Best Kannada film at the 63rd National Film Awards.

Director Shankar who never loses an opportunity to express his appreciation when he sees good work, has taken to the social media to convey his applause. He had said, “I got to see "Thithi" Kannada movie today only. A very good realistic art film. Hats off to director Raam reddy”
