Gautham Karthik starrer Hara Hara Mahadevaki is all set to release on the 29th of September, for the Pooja holidays, along with Vijay Sethupathi's Karuppan.

Talking about the film, director Santhosh P Jayakumar says, "HHMD will be a coming of age, trendy film, which we hope, all youngsters would enjoy. It is up to the audience whether to watch it along with their family or friends, but only when they watch it along with the people they are comfortable with, they'll enjoy the movie. We are not worried about the reviews. We got an A certificate from the censor board, and even the women officials, who were part of the HHMD censor, told me that they actually enjoyed the film very much.

The first half of the film will deal with the romance between a couple (Gautham Karthik and Nikki), and the second half will deal with their break up. The film has come out and we are awaiting for the audience's response. I told this story to 18 heroes, including Gautham Karthik, and finally, he was the one who was ready to do it. That doesn't mean other actors didn't like the script. But they expected the script to be on some other lines in a different perspective. That is why they couldn't do this film."
