Director reacts to Taxiwala movie online leak controversy

The pirated version of Vijay Deverakonda's upcoming flick, Taxiwaala, was leaked much before the film's theatrical release. The full version of the film got leaked on social media, to everyone's shock. This must be really painful for the director and the people are part of this project.

Having said that the director seems to have taken this leak in a very positive manner instead of getting bogged down and crib about it. Here is director Rahul Sankrityan's statement on the leak.

"Dear faceless enemy,

After a 36 hrs of sleepless work, right before
i doze off this morning got to know about movie being in Pirate sites.

But am tired of sobbing on this, I have
realised the process of your cinema shaping up gives you true excitement than someone else appreciating it. Am proud of directing this film and the success its gonna bag.

Team Taxiwaala is strong and confident enough to be optimistic even after so many hard strokes- this journey only made us stronger. We are getting positive responses all over. Thanks for a 3.5 hr trailer for a 2.12 hr film.

And to the ones who enjoy watching a rough cut like that,
i advice you to learn editing on it if you are so interested in cinema after watching the final cut in theatres.

By the way,
post production is finished.
3 days to go.
#Taxiwaala #Taxiwala"

Taxiwala is all set to release this Saturday on the 17th of November. Do watch the film only on theatres. Please do not encourage piracy!!!
