Cinematographer turned director KV Anand, whose notable works as director include Ayan, Anegan and the recent Suriya starrer Kaappaan, recently tweeted in praise of the Malayalam film Trance, which starred Fahadh Faasil, Nazriya Nazim as leads.
Written by adman Vincent Vadakkan, Trance marks Anwar Rasheed's return to direction after a gap of eight years since the 2012 drama Ustad Hotel. The film traces the rise and fall of Viju Prasad, a motivational speaker who would later become a preacher named Joshua Carlton.

Fahadh Faasil will be next seen in Take Off director Mahesh Narayanan's upcoming film Malik, which also has Nimisha Sajayan, Joju George, Vinay Forrt in important roles.
