Ajith was among the first film celebrities to come to the polling station and cast his vote along with wife Shalini in Thiruvanmiyur. When Ajith came to vote, fans gathered there to take selfies with him. Ajith happened to take away the phone of one of the fans. The cops were seen evacuating some of the fans.
After voting, Ajith handed back the phone to the fan and gestured him to not indulge in such acts in a polling station.
It is being said that the actor snatched the phone since that particular fan was repeatedly trying to take a selfie. Despite Ajith asking him to leave, the guy continued and the actor snatched the phone as he was disturbing the voting process and also mingling with people without fearing the spread of the coronavirus.
On the work front, Ajith will next be seen in Valimai, directed by H Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor. Ajith’s first look from the film is expected to release on May 1, his 50th birthday.
