DHANUSH'S KARNAN: NEW 'SWORD' STILL CARRIES A MAJOR 'ASURAN' THROWBACK!
Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsAfter the critically and commercially successful Pariyerum Perumal, director Mari Selvaraj has joined hands with Dhanush for his forthcoming directorial titled 'Karnan'. Apart from the lead, the film also has 'June' actress Rajisha Vijayan, Lal, Lakshmipriyaa Chandramouli, Yogi Babu in principal roles.
The team is currently filming in Tirunelveli area and Dhanush unveiled a new look from the shooting spot of the project. The picture carried the actor carrying a sword with a caption 'Shoot in progress'. The still is reminiscent of the actor's look from the Vetri Maaran-directorial 'Asuran', which displayed a ferocious, sickle-wielding Dhanush.
Karnan is produced by Kalaippuli S. Thanu of V Creations. Dhanush was previously seen in the Pongal release 'Pattas', an action film directed by RS Durai Senthilkumar. The actor also has Karthik Subbaraj's 'Suruli', the Sun Pictures-produced D44 in the pipeline.
