ASURAN'S SUCCESS MEET: DHANUSH REVEALS UNTOLD STORY OF FRIENDSHIP WITH VETRIMARAN!

Incidentally, this is Dhanush Vetrimaaran combo onscreen for the fourth time and Actress Manju Warrier made her Tamil debut in Asuran  released on the 4th of October. Bankrolled by Kalaippuli S Thanu, the film released to great reviews and became a blockbuster hit for the crew.

Now, the film had completed 100 days of successful run yesterday, and the success celebration was held today. In the success meet held today, Dhanush, Vetrimaran, Producer Kalaipuli S Thanu participated amongst others. Dhanush first marked his thanks to Producer Kalaipuli S Thanu. Dhanush mentioned that he was very thankful to "Thanu sir" for allowing him and Vetrimaran full freedom to script the movie as required.

He also mentioned that 25% of the film's whole success goes to 'Vaa Asura vaa' song, and also marked his gratitude towards Master Peter Hein for the amazing stunt choreography. He remarked that the tough stunts were worth the effort. Also, Dhanush emotionally explained the close friendship, the brotherhood he shares with Vetrimaran. 

He narrated how he and Vetrimaran became close friends. Once, as a prank in the sets of Adhu Oru Kana Kaalam, Dhanush had requested Director Balu Mahendra to ask Vetrimaran to enact one of the scenes, and he had later questioned the director whether Balu Mahendra liked his acting or Vetrimaran's better. For that, Balu Mahendra had replied that it is not possible for him to answer as it is like asking him to choose between his two sons. From then on, Dhanush and Vetrimaran had been close as brothers ever! Watch the video for Dhanush's complete speech!
