Dhanush is currently awaiting the release of his first International film, The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakhir which is getting released in Tamil as Pakkiri on June 21. The film is based on a successful novel by Romain Puertolas.
In a recent exclusive interview with Behindwoods, Dhanush shared some interesting details. He shared with us what he felt when the film got standing ovation in France,“It was very emotional. To think of from where I started and to where I have come, it was very overwhelming and I felt very thankful for everything that has happened to me.”
While talking about his recent tweet about the Umpiring controversy in World Cup, he said,”I think I have conveyed what I felt and what I wanted to tell through that tweet itself. I am not in a frame of mind to talk about it now as I will have to use controversial words to speak about it.”
Dhanush is currently working on Vetrimaaran’s Asuran produced by Kalaipuli.S.Thanu’s V Creations. He is also working in Durai Senthilkumar’s untitled film in which Sneha is paired opposite to him.
