Karnan' is a much-awaited project directed by Mari Selvaraj and starring Dhanush, Lal, Yogi Babu, Rajisha Vijayan, Lakshmi Priya and others in pivotal roles. The movie is bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Thaanu. The shooting of the film is over and the finishing touches are on in full swing.
Karnan is said to release in theatres on April 9. Meanwhile, Dhanush has left for the US for the Hollywood film The Gray Man after completing the preliminary shooting of a Karthik Narain-directed film. From there, Dhanush will return to India in May to shoot for the upcoming Karthik Narain-directed film in which Malavika Mohanan plays the female shoot. It was recently announced that Master Mahendran has been roped in to play a pivotal role. GV Prakash Kumar scores music.
