The multi-faceted actor graced The Behindwoods Gold Medals 2019 with his presence, in which he received the medals for The Best Actor In A Lead Role - Male and The Actor Par Excellence In Indian Cinema Since 2002.
The humble star received the awards from his brother, director Selvaraghavan. In the stage, while Parthiban talks about the fanfare Aayirathil Oruvan is receiving now and the hype for a sequel, Dhanush says that if there is a sequel, he would definitely be a part of it.
When asked about the possibility of Pudhupettai 2, Selvaraghavan jokingly said that if Dhanush's call sheet is free, he would make it, for which Dhanush announced that he is willing to act whenever Selva calls him.
