CHARU HAASAN'S OPINION ON BEHINDWOODS GOLD MEDALS 2017

The fourth edition of Behindwoods Gold Medals happened at the Chennai Trade Centre yesterday (11 June) in a gala manner.
 

Legendary actor and Kamal Haasan's brother Charu Haasan was invited to present the award to Raadika Sarathkumar for the category Best Supporting Actress. He took to his official Facebook profile to register his opinion on the event. He posted, "இன்று என் 87 வயதில் ஒரு பரிசளிப்பு விழாவில் கலந்து கொண்டேன்..! எதிர்காலம் என்று ஒன்று இல்லாத மனிதனுக்கு (எனக்குத்தான்..!) எத்தனை பிரியம் மரியாதை..? சினிமாவை குறை கூறுபவர்கள் பொறாமையில்தான் செய்கிறார்கள் என்பது என் கருத்து…..

நான் வக்கீலாக இருக்கும்போது பிரபல ஃபார்வர்ட் பிளாக் அமைப்பாளர் முதுராம லிங்க தேவருக்கு ஜாமீன் மனு தாக்கல் செய்த முதல் வக்கீல். ஐம்பது வயதுவரை வக்கீல் தொழில் செய்து நடிகனாக மாறியவன்.. 57 ஆம் வயதில் சிறந்த நடிகனுக்கான தேசிய விருது பெற்றவன். மரணத்தை நோக்கி பயணம் செய்து கொண்டிருப்பவன் இதை படிக்கும் நீங்களும் அதே பயணம்தான் செய்கிறீர்கள்.? இல்லை என்று ஒரு தகவல் அனுப்புங்களேன்,,,……சாருஹாசன்"

At the age of 87, I attended an award function yesterday. For a man like me, who doesn't have more of a future, how humble and respectful they (Behindwoods team) were! I basically have a feeling that people who talk ill about cinema are the ones who are jealous about it.

After being a lawyer till the age of 50, I entered as an actor into cinema. When I was 57, I got the National Award for Best Actor. I am marching towards my last days of life, and to all those who are reading this post, you are also traveling on the same path towards death. If not, send me an information."
