Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsKarthick Naren’s long-delayed film 'Naragasooran' was supposed to be his sophomore venture after his superhit blockbuster movie 'Dhuruvangal Pathinaru' (2016), but due to various reasons and disputes, the release of the film was pushed aside for several months.
The film, touted to be a suspense drama, has Arvind Swami, Indrajith, Shriya Saran, Sundeep Kishan and Aathmika in the star cast.
After months of speculations, it looks like the movie has taken the OTT route and will not be released in theatres. 'Naragasooran' is said to be released on OTT platform Sony LIV on August 13. An official announcement is expected to be made soon.
Karthick Naren's last release was 'Mafia: Chapter 1' (2020) where Arun Vijay and Priya Bhavani Shankar played the lead pair. Prasanna was portrayed an important role.
The young and talented director is teaming up with Dhanush for his next, which is being referred to as 'D43'. The yet-to-be-titled film has Malavika Mohanan, Samuthirakani, Smruthi Venkat, Mahendran, Krishnakumar Balasubramanian (Soorarai Pottru’s Che) among others in prominent roles.
