Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsSundar C has directed over 30 films in Tamil and has acted in more than ten films as the hero. His notable films as an actor include 'Veerappu' (2007), 'Aayudham Seivom' (2008), 'Aiyantham Padai' (2009) and 'Aranmanai' (2014).
The list also includes 'Thalai Nagaram' which was released in the year 2006. While Sundar C played the lead role in the action film, Jyothimayi portrayed the female lead. The movie and soundtrack were superhit. Not to mention Comedian Vadivelu's role as 'Naai' Shekar.
Now, after 15 years, Sundar C has teamed up with VZ Durai for the sequel of the movie which is being tentatively referred as 'Thalai Nagaram 2'. Produced by Laxmi Movie Makers, the shooting is set to start from October 2021, revealed sources.
Director Sundar C had been working for 'Aranmanai 3' and the details of the film is expected to be out soon. He's also signed another movie as hero with the 'Kattapava Kaanom' director Mani Seiyon.
