In the history of Bigg Boss Tamil for the very first time, 18 contestants were introduced on the very first day itself - of which, currently, there are 15 contestants inside the house - Isaivani, Raju Jeyamohan, Madhumitha, Priyanka Deshpande, Abhinay Vaddi, Chinna Ponnu, Pavani Reddy, Imman Annachi, Iykki Berry, Sruthi Jeyadevan, Akshara Reddy, Thamarai Selvi, Ciby Chandran and Niroop Nandakumar.

3 contestants had quit the show - Namitha Marimuthu walked out due to unforeseen reasons, Nadia Chang was the first one to be eliminated followed by Abishek Raaja. Coming back to Abishek, before his Bigg Boss stint, he is a famous cinema critic and video jockey.

Meanwhile, post his elimination, a throwback video of him opening up about the criticisms that he faced back then is going viral now which also seems to perfectly sync the current situation as well. "This is a short monologue and a disclaimer to the people who follow me. I haven't defended myself to date for the constructive criticisms, the hatred and the allegations on me. But as an individual, I am trying to co-exist in this world and trying to do some quality work in the meantime. I know I have a long way to go but I need to achieve. I am tired of defending myself, I don't want to do it and I won't do it. But it is quite interesting to see that I'm becoming a debatable topic.

So what I wanted to tell you guys was when there is scope for improvement, I am learning more through something. I will continue to do it. It has been a great learning curve. It is very interesting to see how people create and develop different viewpoints on me. So if I defend myself, it will prove that I'm wrong but also I can't ignore all the criticisms on me, I have to address them. 'Ignore the Negativity' will work only for big cinema stars, people like me have to embrace the negativity. I always liked the uncertainties in the life.
