Post his stint in the show Bigg Boss Tamil Season 2, he became quite a favorite of many. He married Prachi Mishra in a lovely ceremony in 2020, and now the lovely couple are expecting a child.

Sharing about her experiences of pregnancy in this crucial pandemic period, Prachi gave an endearing shoutout to Mahat on how caring her spouse is - "Pregnancy during a #pandemic is not easy.
