Sillunu Oru Kaadhal is a romantic drama that released around 13 years ago. It had Suriya, Jyothika and Bhumika Chawla play the lead roles while Shriya Sharma, Sukanya, Vadivelu and Santhanam played other pivotal supporting roles.
The film was directed by N Krishna, who helmed the recent Telugu release Hippi. The film was produced by KE Gnanavel Raja under the banner Studio Green. One of the most imporant characters in the film was Aishu(Bhumika Chawla), who appears as Gautham's (Suriya) college days love interest.
Speaking exclusively to Behindwoods, she spoke about various interesting incidents that took place in the film's shooting spot. She said: "Once, we were there on the set for shooting a song. We placed a sound box outside a house and started playing it at high volume.
Suddenly, an old woman ran out with a rifle in her hand. Suriya, I and others ran for our lives. We scrambled for our bags, and carried whatever we could and fled the spot. The old lady kept chasing us saying we didn't have permission."
