HAPPY BIRTHDAY SURIYA

Suriya who has stolen quite a lot of hearts, turns a year older today, 23rd July 2016. 
 

Suriya started off with roles where he could easily pass the next door boy looks. He made his debut with Nerukku Ner and followed it up with movies like Poovellam Kettupar, Friends and many others. He found his first break through Bala’s Nandha and gave memorable performances in films like Mounam Pesiyadhe, Pithamagan, Kaakha Kaakha and many others.

He also established himself as a commercially successful star with successful movies like Singam, Vel, Ayan and Ghajini. After proving his mettle in Kollywood, he made his debut in Bollywood with RGV’s two part political vehicle, Raktha Charitra.

He often featured in multi starrer projects like Nerukku Ner, Friends, Pithamagan, Ayutha Ezhuthu and Rakhta Charitra. He has made cameo appearances in many movies like KO, June R, Chennaiyil Oru Naal and Ninaithathu Yaro. The actor has also ventured into production and owns a production house, which goes by the name of 2D entertainment.

Being the founder of Agaram foundations, he has never been reluctant to lend a helping hand to philanthropic activities. He has always been an active part of humanitarian work, with him reaching out to aid projects such as “Save the Tiger” and Reach’s free TB medication programs.
