Director Nelson Dilipkumar is currently directing Beast with Vijay. The film stars Pooja Hegde opposite Vijay. Starring Selvaraghavan, VTV Ganesh and Yogibabu. Composer Anirudh composes the music and Manoj Paramahamsa does the cinematography.

It is the first time in India that Red's new RED RAPTOR type camera is used for Beast fight scenes. The highlight of this Red Raptor type camera is the ability to capture slow motion videos with precise 8K resolution. The film is produced by Sun Pictures.

The film was shot in Georgia, Delhi and Chennai. During the filming of this movie, Vijay recently met former Indian cricketer Dhoni. It is noteworthy that the posters and single songs of this film have already been released and have been well received.

Bollywood producer Sajid Nadiadwala has reportedly bought the rights to the Hindi remake of Beast. He is the largest producer in Hindi cinema under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

Sun Pictures has announced that the trailer for Beast will be released on April 2 at 6 p.m. The film crew has released a new poster to mark the occasion. The poster features a photo of him riding a bike and a photo of himself with a gun in his hand.
