ASURAN'S TELUGU REMAKE NARAPPA TEAM HAS A NEW ANNOUNCEMENT TO MAKE - OFFICIAL STATEMENT HERE!

Thanu had announced that Asuran will be having a Telugu adaptation, with Venkatesh and Priyamani reprising Dhanush and Manju Warrier's roles in the film. Titled Narappa, the film is also produced by V Creations, in association with Suresh Productions while Sreekanth Addala directs the film.

Narappa has cinematography by Syam K. Naidu while Marthand K Venkatesh and Gandhi Nadikudikar handle the editing and art departments respectively. The film was all set to hit the screens on May 14th. However, here's the latest announcement from the team:

"Narappa is a film that we have made with a lot of dedication and hard work and your love towards the film has been overwhelming. However, we are all going through a turbulent time during this unprecedented global pandemic and hence, keeping in mind the health and safety of our beloved audience, the theatrical release of the film has been postponed.
