ASURAN'S TELUGU REMAKE NAARAPPA GETS RELEASE DATE

The Telugu feature is produced once again by Kalaipuli S. Thanu, along with Suresh Babu. The movie is titled Naarappa and Priyamani slips into Manju Warrier's shoes.

Naarappa is directed by Sreekanth Addala, the maker of many successful ventures such as Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Kotha Bangaru Lokam and so on. Peter Hein takes care of the stunt sequences.

Naarappa has cinematography by Syam K. Naidu while Marthand K Venkatesh and Gandhi Nadikudikar handle the editing and art departments respectively.

Adapted from the novel Vekkai, the Vetri Maaran directed Asuran tells the story of a family on the run after a gruesome incident. Emerging as one of the biggest critical and commercially successful films of 2019, the film was praised for its performances and storytelling. Asuran made over 100 crores at the box office.
