She has been part of many blockbuster films across languages - Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. She began her journey in movies at the age of 15, with the Kunchako-Boban starrer - Narendran Makan Jayakanthan Vaka.
Her debut in Tamil happened with M. Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi, which also turned out to be stunning success for the actress. From then on, her career graph went higher and higher as she bagged many wondrous projects, and has acted with many top stars of Kollywood.
Her last project till date remains to be All is Well, a hindi romcom drama movie, which featured Abhishek Bachchan, Asin, Rishi Kapoor and Supriya Pathak in the crucial roles. This movie was her last appearance on screen before her marriage with Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma in 2016.
Asin and Rahul have a daughter Arin, who was born on 24 October 2017. In a recent post by the actress on her instagram handle, Asin has shared a lovely video on her story, which shows the very cute Arin cooking, and she enacts how lockdown feels. It is so cute to watch the little Asin's reaction, and like her mother, she is quite impressive at emoting for sure!
