Arya was last seen on screen in the multi-starrer, Kaappaan that featured Suriya, Mohanlal, Sayyeshaa amongst others in lead roles. The film had received lukewarm responses amongst the audiences.

Post which, the actor is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, Teddy which features Sayyeshaa as the female lead. Directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan, the film is produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja under the banner Studio Green.

The actor also has another biggie that he has bagged. He will be teaming up with Pa Ranjith for a boxing-based film that will also feature talented actors, Dinesh of ‘Attakathi’ fame and Kalaiyarasan.
