Actor Ajith Kumar's second release in 2019, Nerkonda Paarvai, is running with packed houses and shows all over. The film is receiving an overwhelming amount of praise for its subject matter and the lead performances. Adapted from the 2016 legal drama Pink, Nerkonda Paarvai is adapted and directed by H. Vinoth and bankrolled by Boney Kapoor under the banner Bayview Projects LLP.

Arun Vijay will not be playing villain in Ajith Kumar's Thala 60 ft. H. Vinoth Boney Kapoor

After Nerkonda Paarvai, Ajith will be seen playing the lead in the tentatively titled project 'Thala 60', which will also be directed by H. Vinoth and produced under the same banner. Meanwhile, there were recent media reports suggesting that actor Arun Vijay will be playing the villain in Thala 60. Our sources close to the development have completely denied the aforementioned reports.

Arun Vijay had earlier played the antagonist in the Gautham Vasudev Menon-directed 2015 cop-thriller Yennai Arindhaal, which had Ajith in the lead role. The film fetched a lot of praise for Arun Vijay's performance as the menacing baddie.

On the work front, Arun Vijay is currently gearing up for the release of the action-epic Saaho, which was directed by Sujeeth and stars Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles while Neil Nitin Mukesh, Chunky Panday, Jackie Shroff and others play crucial roles.
