At the Behindwoods Gold Medal Awards 2015 held yesterday, the 24th July, Arun Vijay won the Best Supporting Actor-Male, for Yennai Arindhaal. It is known widely that Arun portrayed the role of a baddie Victor in the film directed by Gautham Menon.
Arun said, “I owe this all to Gautham sir. I thank him for creating Victor. People advised me not to go to FDFS of Yennai Arindhaal, as I was the antagonist for Ajith. But I went ahead and I cannot forget the response from Thala fans. They appreciated my performance and could differentiate between reel and real. All said and done, Thala fans Thala fans Dhaan!”
