A.R.Rahman last composed the 2019 biggie ‘Bigil’, which starred Thalapathy Vijay as the lead. His music received a tremendous response from the audience and the song ‘Verithanam’ sung by Vijay from the movie became an out of the box chartbuster and is ruling the playlists of many.
Meanwhile, A.R.Rahman is back with his next and it is an international biggie, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the lead. A.R.Rahman has joined the U.S.-India-Bangladesh film “No Land’s Man” as co-producer and composer.
The movie is directed by eminent Bangladeshi filmmaker Mostofa Sarwar Farooki and stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Australian theatre actor Megan Mitchell, along with Bangladeshi musician and actor Tahsan Rahman Khan.
ARR’s ‘99 Songs’ is also on the pipeline, with a release date announcement expected post lockdown. He is also working on Chiyaan Vikram’s ‘Cobra’ directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu and ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ directed by Mani Ratnam, along with Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Ayalaan’. Stay tuned.
