Anushka Sharma has shared an enraged statement on seeing the death of a jackal in Tamil Nadu's Trichy, in a manner similar to the death of a elephant which was fed a cracker inside a pineapple. This time, it is touted to be done by giving the animal a bomb covered with meat.

Enraged over this, Anushka Sharma wrote - "What sort of trend is this becoming? It is appalling. Cannot stress enough on stricter laws against animal cruelty," on her Instagram story. She also shared the news article.

The Tamil Nadu Forest Department had arrested 12 gypsies for killing the jackal, whose mouth was blown up due to the incident. It is curiously painful to note that another such cruel incident is touted to have occured at Himachal Pradesh where a person tried to kill a pregnant cow by feeding it explosives.
