Interacting with Behindwoods, Sindhu opened up about her surgery, her struggles and how she has been overcoming the physical and mental agony of cancer. She also revealed that a few people have come forward to help her out and also requested for help.

Speaking about her friends and co-stars, she said “Many people betrayed me. My so called friends, who used to stay by my side when I had the wealth are nowhere to be found now. I have personally helped numerous people in my life, without expecting anything in return. Those people who benefited through me are ignoring me now.”

“They are speaking badly about me and my daughter. Some people said that my daughter eloped with someone, leaving me as an orphan. I am living only because of my daughter. I have worked really hard to raise her and it hurts me to see people talking ill about her. ”

She further added “I have spent around 6 and a half lakhs already. I will need another 4 lakh rupees. If anyone watching this could help me, I’d be really grateful. Once I am back to normal, I will definitely continue doing the social work which I had always been doing.”
