3 FILMS SINCE 2012, ALL IN THE SAME MONTH!

Lakshmy Ramakrishnan is multitalented actor turned director. She made her acting debut through a  Malayalam film, Chakkara Muthu in 2006, then ventured into Tamil a few years later with some interesting supporting roles in films like  Poi Solla Porom, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, Boss Engira Bhaskaran, Yuddham Sei and many more.

She became popular among households after hosting a reality show in a well-known television channel. In 2012, Lakshmy Ramakrishnan tried her hand in film direction for the 1st time with Aarohanam. The film won accolades from the critics.

In 2014, she made her second film titled Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathe and now her 3rd directorial Ammani will hit the screens this weekend. Interestingly, all her 3 directorial films have been released in the month of October. Is it a sentiment or mere coincidence is something that we are not sure of.
