IS IT DHANUSH, AMALA PAUL AND SAMUTHIRAKANI AGAIN?

When Kalaipuli Thanu announced his production venture VIP2 (Velaiyilla Pattathari) under the direction of Soundarya Rajinikanth with Dhanush as the hero, there were quite a few questions, the top one being whether this film would be the sequel of VIP in its story or a different script with just the same title with an addition of a number. The common factor at that point was Dhanush as the hero.

However, we hear reports that Amala Paul who featured in VIP has also been brought in VIP2. And there is also Samuthirakani who again rocked it big time as Dhanush’s dad in the first one.

If three important leads in the form of Dhanush, Amala Paul and Samuthirakani are there in VIP2 too, we wonder if VIP 2 will take off from where VIP left. Or is this a totally different story and it is a mere coincidence that the project shares the same actors.
