Actor Daniel Balaji has been facing backlash on social media for the portrayal of a religious figure in the teaser of a new web series 'Godman' while supposedly belonging to another religion.
A popular producer has now been accused of disrespecting the Indian Army in one of their television series.
Television and film producers Ekta Kapoor has been accused of allegedly disrespecting the Indian soldiers in an episode of her web series ‘XXX 2’, which is produced under the ALT Balaji banner. Bhau, a contestant of Big Boss 13 has filed a police complaint against the producer.
The reality show contestant also shared Tweets urging action on the producer for the same accusation.
Padma Shri winner Ekta Kapoor is the joint managing director of ALT Balaji and has produced several popular television series and web series in the past.
