THIS BOLLYWOOD HITMAKER TO PLAY THE LEAD IN VIJAY’S SUPERHIT REMAKE?

Vijay’s blockbuster entertainer Kaththi, which was directed by AR Murugadoss, was earlier reported to be remade in Hindi. The film was based on the role of a man who fights for the rights of farmers against corrupt MNCs. It was also reported that Sanjay Leela Bhansali will be bankrolling the project in Bollywood.

We have got an interesting update on this project. Recent reports that are doing good rounds in the social media is that the film has been titled as Ikka and sources close to us have revealed that Bollywood’s Khiladi, Akshay Kumar has been approached to reprise Vijay’s role, however the team are waiting for the actor’s nod.

Helmed by Jagan Shakti who is currently awaiting the release of his first directorial movie in Bollywood, Mission Mangal, is again said to be teaming up with Akshay for his second directorial. The film is set to go on floors soon. However, an official announcement on the same is awaited. "I AM WAITING."
