Following the success of these two films, the project of AK61, the third collaboration between actor Ajith Kumar, H. Vinoth and Boney Kapoor, was finalized a year ago. Following Valimai, Ajith Kumar's 61st film started shooting on April 11 with Pooja. The photo related to this has been published on the internet and has been well received.

The film is currently being shot in Hyderabad. Nirav Shah is the cinematographer for this film. Samuthirakani and Manju Warrier have been confirmed to star in the film. 

Filmmaker Boney Kapoor has shared exclusive AK 61 image info for our Behindwoods channel as the shooting is in full swing. It said "35 days of filming is over and filming will be completed in July and August."
