The film was supposed to hit the big screens this Pongal but it got postponed due to the COVID-19 Omicron variant.
Finally, after a lot of postponement, the biggie is all set to hit the theatres on February 24, 2022. Directed by H. Vinoth and bankrolled by Boney Kapoor, Valimai also features Huma Qureshi as the leading lady and Kartikeya Gummakonda will be seen as the antagonist.
Ajith can be seen playing an upright cop. Valimai also marks the actor-director duo's second project under Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP banner post the 2019 courtroom drama 'Nerkonda Paarvai'. The music is scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja while the camera is cranked by DOP Nirav Shah.
And now a picture of the actor along with the director which is said to be a latest click is going viral on the social media. But what grabbed the attention was the other person in the pic - yes, he is none other than the National award winning audiographer MR Rajakrishnan who has also worked in this upcoming film. Woah!
