Post which, it was announced that the actor will be teaming up with director Nelson Dilipkumar of Doctor fame for the very first time and the upcoming film has been titled as Beast. Vijay will be seen pairing opposite Pooja Hegde for the film.
Just yesterday (September 26), popular Telugu director Vamshi Paidipally of Thozha and Oopiri fame took to his social media to announce that he would be teaming up with Vijay for the first time for his next which is being referred to as Thalapathy 66.
Produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the banner Sri Venkateswara Creations, the producers and the director of the film visited the Tirumala Tirupathi temple to seek blessings. More announcements regarding the cast and crew of this upcoming film would be announced soon. Stay tuned!
