Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsPopular director, Bala had last helmed Jyotika and GV Prakash’s Naachiyaar which was received well by the audiences. Post which he had helmed, Varma, the earlier version of Adithya Varma that did not make it to the screens.
The director is currently busy with his next project which he has teamed up with popular producer and actor R.K Suresh who had earlier marked his debut in Kollywood with the director’s Tharai Thappattai. Directed by M.Padmakumar, the film is the official remake of the 2018 Malayalam film 'Joseph' which featured Joju George in the lead role.
Director Bala will be producing this film under his banner B Studios. Like the lead character in the original, Suresh will also be seen in a dual role in this film. It was earlier reported that the actor will be gaining and then shedding his weight for the flashback sequences in the film.
He had gained more than 22 kilos for the film which is rather unusual and now, the actor has stunned the Internet with his massive transformation where he has lost 26 kilos - from 105 kg to 79 kg. The actor is being widely appreciated for his strong determination for the film. Check out the pics here -
