The ace-director is currently working with Actor Dhanush and Malavika Mohanan in 'Maaran'. The first look poster, which was recently released, had Dhanush holding a pen in one hand and smashing the enemy's head down on the glass table. The movie is produced by Sathya Jyothi Films and is expected to release next year.

Karthick Naren now seems to be ready with another project which is expected to be produced by Ayngaran International, reveal sources. For the movie, Actor Atharvaa is roped in as the male lead. Official information regarding the same is expected to be announced soon.

Meanwhile Atharvaa Murali and Sarkunam, who had earlier worked on their 2015 action drama film 'Chandi Veeran', have teamed up once again for a family drama produced by Lyca Productions. He also has films like 'Kuruthi Aattam', 'Thalli Pogathey' and 'Othaikku Othai' in different stages of production.
