EXCLUSIVE: “I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT WHEN VIJAY SIR SAID THIS…!” SUNAINA REVEALS, CHECK OUT THE INTERVIEW

Talking about ‘Sillu Karupatti’, she said, “When the film initially released in theaters, people didn’t know that there was a film like this. They probably missed it because they didn’t know what to expect from it. After the release, it got bigger with the word of mouth and now they are saying it is one of the best films of 2019.”

Speaking about how the film was received by the film industry, Sunaina said, “People from the industry saw it and there was absolutely no negativity.” She also revealed that ‘Pink Bag’ is her favorite story apart from her own. “Showing affection or love among kids of that age is tricky, and Halitha (director of ‘Sillu Karupatti’) has shown it in such a sweet way.”

The ‘Vamsam’ actress spoke about her experience working with Gautham Menon on ‘Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta’. “Working with Gautham sir is like working on a holiday, never felt like shooting. He is so calm and his reactions are very relaxed, he puts no pressure on the actors and the way he treats his team is very relaxed.”

Sunaina also opened up about her wavelength with Dhanush, “Dhanush can laugh one second before a shot and the minute they say action he can cry if he has to. There is a reason he is who he is.”

The actress, who made a special appearance in ‘Theri’, revealed her interaction with Vijay on the sets. “The one scene took two days of shoot and I had my first proper interaction with Vijay sir on the sets of ‘Theri’. On the second day, he turned to me and told me that I had danced very well in my song ‘Odi Odi Vilayadu’. When Vijay sir complimented me genuinely, I couldn’t believe it. He does a lot of spontaneous things during a scene.”

Sunaina was last seen in the 2019 anthology romantic film ‘Sillu Karupatti’ directed by Halitha Shameem. The film stars an ensemble cast also including Samuthirakani, Leela Samson, Nivedhithaa Sathish and Sara Arjun.
