"MY FIRST SALARY WAS 500 RS...!" - SAMANTHA OPENS UP IN A RECENT Q&A SESSION!

Hailing from Pallavaram, Chennai, she was married to Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya. Samantha, who continued to act even after marriage, recently divorced her husband Naga Chaitanya.

After her divorce, she is currently starring in the Tamil film 'Kathuvakkula Rendu Kadhal', the new film to be produced by Dream Warriors under the direction of director Chandruban Gnanasekaran and the Telugu film 'Shakuntalam' 'Yashoda'. 

Samantha is also making her Bollywood debut with a new film to be produced by actress Taapsee's Outsider Films. An official announcement has not been made yet. An official announcement on other Cast & Crew details is expected soon.

In this situation, Samantha answered the questions of her fans on Instagram prior to the release of her film Kaathuvakula Rendu Kaadhal. In response to a question, she replied that her first salary was 500 Rs, when she hosted a show at the hotel during 10th or 11th grade.
