RIP: ACTOR VIVEKH PASSES AWAY IN HOSPITAL; INDUSTRY AND FANS IN DEEP SHOCK!
Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsPopular comedy actor Vivekh died in a private hospital in Chennai in the early hours of Saturday, April 17 due to cardiac arrest. The actor was 59. He was admitted to SIMS hospital, Vadapalani, Chennai on Friday.
Vivekh had been rushed to hospital in an unconscious state around 11 am on Friday by family members. According to SIMS health bulletin that was released yesterday (April 16), he was resuscitated in the emergency room by specialists. Later he underwent Emergency Coronary Angiogram followed by Angioplasty.
He was said to be in critical condition on ECMO in the intensive Care Unit. And, today according to the medical bulletin from the hospital, “He passed away at 4:35 am”. This piece of news has not only left all of us shocked but also devastated!
Vivekh, who was popular for comedy roles, had acted in more than 220 films and had acted alongside Kamal Haasan, Ajith, Vijay and Madhavan to name a few. He had received the Padma Shri in 2009. We, at Behindwoods express our heartfelt condolences to the bereaving family!
