Rajinikanth's latest movie Kaala released worldwide on 7th June and has largely received positive reviews from fans and critics alike. A lot of pirated links were reported since the release of the film.
The Tamil Film Producers' Council has taken huge steps in order for the piracy to stop. Close to 12,000 links have been removed, 69 YouTube channels have been blocked and 211 facebook accounts have been suspended for issues related to Kaala piracy.
The official Twitter handle of TFPC Anti-piracy cell has tweeted the stats: #kaala 12000 plus pirated links removed by TFPC antipiracy cell. 211 Facebook accounts suspended. 69 YouTube channels blocked.
