SHOCKING: RJ BALAJI FALLS IN LOVE WITH ADITI IN KAATRU VELIYIDAI?

45 seconds sneak peak from Mani Ratnam’s Kaatru Veliyidai was released some time ago, today (5th April). The video features RJ Balaji who plays the role of an Orthopaedic Surgeon named Dr. Illyas Hussain. Then you have heroine Aditi (Dr. Leela) and Rukmani (Dr. Nidhi).

Aditi tells RJ Balaji that she is in love with someone, RJ Balaji looks at her thinking that it’s him that she is talking about (we presume from his body language, facial expression, and mannerism). And then she says, the man that she loves is not in the city. You could see RJ Balaji’s face going dull. From the scene, one could easily guess that RJ Balaji is in love with Aditi, but she likes Karthi. A very different role for RJ Balaji from what he has played so far.

Kaatru Veliyidai releases the day after tomorrow on April 7th. As a further boost to its trade prospects in Tamil Nadu, the film has been given the entertainment tax exemption. In simple terms, the film's gross in the state would become its net as well. The prospects of distributors recovering their investment would be improved, thanks to this exemption.
