An artist beyond comparison has just physically left us with decades of performances to be remembered and cherished.

 

Fondly called as Aachi, veteran actress Manorama originally named as Gopishantha has reached the heavenly abode, breathing her last during the late hours of the 10th of October.

 

With a record number of over 1300 odd films to her filmography, the talented actress is the only human being to have acted with five different Chief Ministers. From Maalaiyitta Mangai to Singam 2, Manorama's habit was to deliver remarkable performances. 

 

Coming from a very strong theater background, the gifted performer could reprise any type of a role with utmost ease and perfection. Such an irreplaceable loss to the fraternity is unbearable. We send our condolences to her family.
